Uganda is one of the largest Robusta producers in the world. After Ethiopia, Uganda is Africa’s second largest coffee producer, responsible for 2.5% of the world’s harvest.

Robusta Ngoma is grown in the Wakison area, near Lake Victoria. Local farmers manually harvest ripe red Robusta fruits, which are then dried in the sun. This process is called ‘naturally sun dried’. Harvesting takes place from October to January.
