The Cafelat Robot Barista is a lever-style home espresso machine. By pressing the levers down, homebrewers increase the pressure inside the portafilter, dispersion screen, and basket. It uses few parts, no complicated electronics, and only premium materials like stainless steel. All café pieces are completely plastic-free!

Water and coffee come into contact only with stainless steel, a food-grade silicone piston seal, and a food-grade silicone top pin of the filter screen. All components are tested for food safety. The main body is made of die-cast and powder-coated aluminum, but it has no contact with water or coffee.

What you need to make espresso

All you need is ground coffee, some hot water from a kettle and you’re all set. The entire process is simple and takes just a few minutes – no need for any capsule machines and less plastic waste going to landfill.

The Robot Barista has an integrated pressure gauge that will display the basket pressure during extraction. The pressure gauge displays the pressure you exert with your arms. Does not create pressure.
