At a minimum, brewers with Flair 58 Plus should have:

High-quality burr grinder with espresso capacity– Brewing espresso on the Flair 58 Plus is a work of art and science. It is impossible to adjust the extraction of your espresso with inconsistent grounds. As such, it is necessary to have an espresso-capable grinder to use with your 58 Plus. Expect to spend at least $150 and look for a unit with continuous grind scaling.

High Quality Kettle– While you don’t need a temperature-controlled kettle to brew with the Flair 58 Plus, it will certainly make your workflow and experience more enjoyable. At the very least, use a kettle with a thermometer so you can be accurate with your thermal inputs.

Digital scale– Any scale will do, but for repeatable results, both your inputs and outputs must be measured. This includes dosing your beans, measuring the yield in your cup, as well as the flow rate.
