In our Crema 100% Robusta coffee you can taste a touch of smoke, dark chocolate and cocoa, as well as notes of marzipan and bitter almonds. The coffee is a darker medium roast and medium body, leaving a smooth and light aftertaste, but not too bold.

Arabica vs. Robust

The two main types of coffee beans used are Arabica and Robusta. Arabica is more common, but Robusta beans have a more intense, strong and pleasantly bitter flavor and contain more caffeine. Therefore, Robusta is often used in espresso blends for cappuccinos and lattes. However, Robusta coffee also works great as a filter and drip coffee. In this coffee we use washed Robusta Parchemt beans from India, popular in Italian espresso coffees, and with taste notes of hazelnut and dark chocolate.
